Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.5.1.1.3 - Make sketches of lines, curves, objects, and write the letterings
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and distinguish between lower-case and upper-case letters used in technical lettering.
- State the principles of lettering, including the standard heights for titles (8mm) and general information (6mm).
- Prepare a drawing paper with a title block indicating name, school, class, date, and drawing number.
- Apply the principles of lettering to write clear, legible lettering on a sketch.
- Produce a freehand sketch that combines appropriate lines, curves, and correctly lettered annotations.
