Indicator: B7.3.4.1.2 - Demonstrate skills in the classification of kitchen essentials
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what it means to classify kitchen essentials according to size and function.
- Identify and sort at least 10 different kitchen essentials into the categories of small, large, and mechanical items.
- Justify why a particular kitchen item belongs in a given category based on clear criteria.
- Present a classified list of kitchen essentials to the class for appraisal and defend the choices made.
- Apply classification skills to decide which kitchen essentials are suitable for a given kitchen space and purpose.
