Indicator: B7.2.1.1.1 - Describe compliant materials
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what compliant materials are, giving at least two examples from everyday life.
- Identify the key characteristics of compliant materials (recognised, predictable and consistent properties) in their own words.
- Sort a mixed collection of materials into compliant and non-compliant groups, justifying each choice.
- Write a short summary paragraph describing compliant materials and giving examples.
- Work in pairs to explain their sorting decisions clearly, using relevant details to support their reasoning.
