Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.3.1.2.2 - Demonstrate the ability to pronounce consonants with tanwin ending, and their representations in words.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the three tanwin variants (fathataan, kasrataan, dammataan) when they appear at the end of Arabic words.
- Pronounce consonants ending with fathataan (ً), kasrataan (ٍ), and dammataan (ٌ) accurately.
- Read and pronounce words containing tanwin endings as they appear in connected text.
- Write simple words that end with each of the three tanwin variants.
- Distinguish between tanwin endings and similar-looking single vowel markings from earlier lessons (Term 2, Week 12 and Term 3, Week 1).
