Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.2.1.5.1
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Pronounce correctly the Arabic names for six colours: red, blue, green, black, white, and yellow.
- Match each Arabic colour word to the correct item in a picture or in the classroom.
- Form simple noun-adjective phrases in Arabic that describe a coloured item, such as قلم أَحْمَر (a red pen) and سَبُّورَة بَيْضَاء (a white board).
- Produce simple spoken sentences in Arabic that state the colour of an item, for example: هٰذَا قَمِيص أَخْضَر (This is a green shirt).
- Use the correct colour word to describe at least six items in their immediate environment when asked in Arabic.
