Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.1.4.3 - Recognise and name school activities and facilities like examination, assembly, teaching, learning, library, headmaster’s office, etc.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Pronounce and recognise at least eight Arabic words for school activities and facilities (such as امتحان, اجتماع, تدريس, مذاكرة, مسابقة, قراءة, عطلة, مكتب المدير) with accurate articulation.
Match each Arabic word to its correct meaning in English and to the correct picture or real object in the classroom.
Use the target words in simple spoken sentences to describe daily, weekly, monthly, termly or yearly school activities (for example, “لدينا امتحان يوم الاثنين”).
Respond correctly to teacher questions such as “متى يكون الامتحان؟” or “أين المكتبة؟” using the target vocabulary.
Participate in a short class conversation about school routines, naming at least three activities and two facilities without prompting.
