Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.1.2.3 - Pronounce words accurately for immediate family relations such as father, mother or sister from a passage.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Pronounce the Arabic words for immediate family members (أب، أم، ابن، ابنة، أخ، أخت) with correct articulation of each consonant and vowel.
Identify family relation words when they hear them read aloud in a short passage.
Read aloud a short passage containing family relation words with acceptable pronunciation.
Produce at least three oral sentences describing their own family using the target vocabulary.
Distinguish between similar-sounding family words (e.g., أخ and أخت) in spoken form.
