Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.2.1.1.1 - Identify appropriate expressions for greetings and their appropriate time. For e.g. good morning, good afternoon, good evening.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify and state the correct Arabic greeting for morning, afternoon, and evening when shown a clock time or picture.
Pronounce the greetings صباح الخير (good morning), مساء الخير (good afternoon/evening), and their responses with reasonable accuracy.
Match each greeting to its appropriate time of day in a matching exercise.
Initiate and respond to greetings in short role-play dialogues using the phrases learnt, choosing the correct greeting for the time given.
Distinguish between formal and informal greeting situations in Ghanaian and Arabic-speaking contexts.
