Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.1.2.3.1 - Recognise sounds in an audio with their corresponding meanings in greetings and responses.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify by ear the four time-based greetings (good morning, good afternoon, good evening, and you are welcome) when played in an audio recording.
- Match each greeting sound to its correct meaning and the time of day it is used.
- Produce the correct response to each greeting when they hear it spoken aloud.
- Distinguish between the greeting and the response forms of each phrase when listening.
- Use appropriate tone and pronunciation when repeating the greetings and responses after the audio.
