Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.1.2.1.1 - Show understanding of the difference in intonation of simple phrases relating to sizes and heights in the classroom and school environment.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Identify the Arabic words for sizes and heights (صغير، كبير، طويل، قصير، متوسط) when they hear them spoken aloud.
Distinguish between the different intonation patterns used when a speaker describes something as small, big, tall, short, or medium.
Respond physically by mimicking with their hands the size or height of an object when they hear the corresponding Arabic word.
Match spoken Arabic phrases about sizes and heights to objects in the classroom and school environment.
Produce the correct intonation when repeating phrases about sizes and heights after the teacher.
