Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.1.2.1.1 - Show understanding of the difference in intonation of simple phrases relating to sizes and heights in the classroom and school environment.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the Arabic words for sizes and heights (صغير، كبير، طويل، قصير، متوسط) when they hear them spoken aloud.
- Distinguish between the different intonation patterns used when a speaker describes something as small, big, tall, short, or medium.
- Respond physically by mimicking with their hands the size or height of an object when they hear the corresponding Arabic word.
- Match spoken Arabic phrases about sizes and heights to objects in the classroom and school environment.
- Produce the correct intonation when repeating phrases about sizes and heights after the teacher.
