Learning Objectives
Indicator: B7.1.1.4.1 - Identify various sounds that form words and phrases on learning activities
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Listen to and identify the distinct consonant and vowel sounds in the words قراءة (reading), دراسة (study), كاتبة (writer), رسم (drawing), امتحان (exam), جواب (answer), and مذاكرة (revision).
- Break down dictated words into their individual sound components (syllables/phonemes) and pronounce each sound correctly.
- Match the sounds they hear to the correct written word from a list of similar-sounding options.
- Write dictated words about learning activities from memory with correct spelling and accurate sound-to-letter correspondence.
- Use the identified sounds to recognise these words when they appear in short classroom phrases and instructions.
