Learning Objectives

Indicator: B7.1.1.3.1 - Identify the sound patterns and pronunciations of names of classroom items within simple phrases and sentences.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Listen to and correctly identify the Arabic names of at least eight classroom items (such as قلم، كتاب، مسطرة، مقص، حقيبة، كراسة، كرسي، طاولة، مكتبة، سبورة، ممحاة) when spoken by the teacher or from an audio recording.
Pronounce the names of classroom items with accurate short vowels (fatha, kasra, damma) and long vowels, distinguishing pairs like قَلَم (pen) and قِلَم (pens).
Recognise classroom item words when they appear within simple listening phrases such as هذا قلم (this is a pen) or أين الكتاب؟ (where is the book?).
Match spoken words to pictures or real objects of classroom tools during a listening activity.
Respond to simple listening instructions involving classroom items, such as خُذِ الكِتاب (take the book) or ضَعِ القَلَم (put down the pen), by performing the correct action.
