Indicator: B6.2.1.1.1 - Discuss the importance of prayer in our lives.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define prayer as communication between a worshipper and the object of worship.
- Identify and describe at least three types of prayer practised in Christianity, Islam and Traditional African Religion.
- Explain at least three reasons why prayer is important in our daily lives.
- Demonstrate how prayer is performed in each of the three major religions in Ghana with respect and accuracy.
- Reflect on how prayer builds personal qualities such as humility, gratitude, faithfulness and togetherness.
