Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.3.2.3.2 - Perform 15 continuous sit-ups
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate the correct starting position for a sit-up, with knees bent, feet flat on the mat, and arms by the sides.
- Perform 15 continuous sit-ups using proper form, keeping the movement smooth and controlled throughout.
- Count and record the number of sit-ups they complete in one set at their own pace.
- Identify the abdominal muscles as the main muscles worked during sit-ups and explain why muscular endurance matters for daily activities.
- Assess their own performance and set a personal goal to improve their sit-up count over the next two weeks.

Learners sit on a mat with in a v shaped legs position. Keep their arms by their side. Perform continuous sit-ups the body continuously for 15 times. Learners test their abdominal muscular strength by counting and logging the number they are able to perform in a set at their own pace.
