Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.3.1.3.1
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Perform an uninterrupted 8-minute run at their own pace, with or without music, demonstrating aerobic capacity and stamina.
- Monitor their own effort during the run using simple cues such as breathing rate, sweating, and ability to talk in short phrases.
- Explain in their own words why running for 8 continuous minutes improves heart health and overall physical fitness.
- Apply proper running form, including upright posture, relaxed shoulders, and steady arm swing, throughout the duration of the run.
- Record their personal performance and set a simple goal to improve or maintain their running time and distance in future sessions.
