Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.1.12.1.15 - Organize aerobic dance.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain what aerobic dance is and identify at least three fitness benefits it provides, such as coordination, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance.
  2. Organize a simple aerobic dance routine by selecting music and arranging a sequence of at least four basic aerobic movements.
  3. Perform an aerobic dance routine with local or foreign music, maintaining steady rhythm and correct body alignment for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Use feedback from peers and the teacher to refine their aerobic dance movements and improve their fitness skills.
  5. Demonstrate leadership by leading a small group through an aerobic dance routine, giving clear cues and encouragement.
