Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.1.3.1.4 - Roll ball using a stick in a game situation (hockey).

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Demonstrate the correct grip and stance for holding a hockey stick with both hands.
  2. Roll a ball from one place to another using a hockey stick while controlling its direction.
  3. Apply the rolling skill in a mini hockey game situation with a small group.
  4. Show patience, tolerance and collaboration while taking turns and working with teammates during the game.
  5. Perform a simple cool-down routine to bring the body back to rest after physical activity.
