Indicator: B6.4.4.1.1 - Describe the agricultural value chain and the job opportunities

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Explain the meaning of the agricultural value chain in their own words, using at least two examples from farming in Ghana.
Identify and name at least five different job opportunities that exist at different stages of the agricultural value chain.
Describe how a product moves from the farm to the consumer, listing the steps in the correct order.
Discuss how each stage of the value chain creates jobs for people in their community.
Write a short essay explaining which agricultural value chain job they would choose and why.
