Indicator: B6.3.2.1.1 - Identify two ways of making festivals beneficial to the communities
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State at least four ways in which festivals can bring benefits to their communities.
- Explain how a festival occasion can be used to plan for community development projects.
- Describe how festivals can be used to settle disputes and honour hardworking people in the community.
- Discuss how youth participation and gender inclusivity can make festivals more beneficial.
- Draw a durbar scene showing chiefs and community members during a festival celebration.
