Indicator: B6.6.1.1.2 - Identify the political parties that have governed the country under the Fourth Republic
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name the political parties that have formed governments under the Fourth Republic (1992 to date).
- List the leaders of these parties who served as Presidents of the Republic.
- State the years each party held the reins of government.
- Explain the significance of peaceful handovers of power through elections in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
- Discuss the achievements of at least one government within their local district or municipality.
