By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Name the political parties that have formed governments under the Fourth Republic (1992 to date).
List the leaders of these parties who served as Presidents of the Republic.
State the years each party held the reins of government.
Explain the significance of peaceful handovers of power through elections in Ghana’s Fourth Republic.
Discuss the achievements of at least one government within their local district or municipality.
