Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.4.8.1.1 - Écouter/Regarder et comprendre un document audiovisuel et prendre note des positions des personnes et des objets.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and name at least five position words (sur, sous, devant, derrière, à côté de, entre) when they hear them in a short audiovisual document.
  2. Listen to or watch a short video or audio clip describing people and objects in a room or scene, and note the position of at least four people or objects correctly.
  3. Draw or sketch a simple scene based on an audiovisual description, placing people and objects in the correct positions.
  4. Write short notes or labels in French showing the position of people and objects they have seen in a video, using phrases like “le livre est sur la table”.
  5. Respond to simple oral questions about the position of people and objects in an audiovisual document, using the correct position words.
