Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.4.7.4.1 - Ecrire les professions ou métiers des membres de sa famille.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Write the names of at least five professions or trades in French with correct spelling (e.g., agriculteur, infirmière, enseignant, commerçante, mécanicien).
- Match each member of their family to the correct French word for that person’s profession or trade.
- Write three complete French sentences describing the professions of three different family members, using the pattern “Mon père est …”, “Ma mère est …”, “Mon frère est …”.
- Use the correct masculine and feminine forms of profession names when writing about male and female family members (e.g., commerçant vs. commerçante, enseignant vs. enseignante).
- Produce a short written paragraph (4 to 5 sentences) introducing the professions of their family members.
