By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read aloud a short invitation card or letter in French with correct pronunciation and appropriate intonation.
- Identify and list the key elements of an invitation letter: the sender, the receiver, the event, the date, the time and the place.
- Answer comprehension questions in French and in English about a given invitation card or letter.
- Distinguish between a formal invitation and an informal invitation based on the language used.
- Translate key phrases from an invitation letter from French to English to demonstrate understanding.
