Indicator: B6.4.6.2.1 - Inviter quelqu’un au téléphone à manger ou à une fête
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and use key vocabulary and expressions for inviting someone to eat or to a party over the phone.
- Initiate a short telephone conversation in French to invite a friend or family member to a meal or celebration.
- Respond appropriately to accept an invitation using correct expressions (e.g., “Oui, avec plaisir”, “D’accord, merci”).
- Dramatise a realistic phone call invitation, demonstrating proper greeting, invitation, and closing phrases.
- Recognise culturally appropriate ways of inviting people to events in Francophone and Ghanaian contexts.
