Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.2.1.2.2 - Décrire les pièces de sa maison
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least six rooms of a house in French (la chambre à coucher, le salon, la cuisine, la salle à manger, la salle de bains, les toilettes) with correct articles.
- Use the structure “Dans ma maison, il y a…” to introduce the rooms in their home.
- Use the structure “C’est une…” or “C’est un…” to identify each room correctly according to its gender.
- Describe each room with one simple descriptive phrase, such as “La cuisine est grande” or “Le salon est petit.”
- Present a short oral description of their house (3 to 4 sentences) to a partner or small group, naming at least three rooms and giving one detail about each.
