Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.5.2.2 - Décrire les membres de sa famille ; donner leur âge, profession, etc.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least eight family members in French, including extended family members such as les grands-parents, la tante, l’oncle, la cousine, le cousin, la nièce and le neveu.
- Describe each family member using the correct possessive adjective (mon, ma, mes) and the verb être in the present tense (e.g. Mon grand-père est agriculteur).
- Give the age of a family member using avoir (e.g. Ma cousine a dix ans).
- State the profession or occupation of a family member in a complete sentence (e.g. Mon oncle est mécanicien).
- Present a short oral description of two or three family members, combining name, age and profession in a logical order.
