By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Read a short French passage describing a person’s physical characteristics, clothing and behaviour.
Identify and extract key vocabulary about physical appearance (les cheveux, les yeux, la taille), clothing (la robe, le pantalon, le chapeau) and behaviour (gentil, poli, travailleur) from a written text.
Answer comprehension questions in French about who is described, what they wear and how they behave.
Match descriptions in French to the correct pictures of people.
Use context clues and familiar vocabulary from previous weeks (listening and speaking lessons) to decode unfamiliar words in a short reading text.
