Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.2.4.1 - Écrire une carte postale à un/une correspondant(e) pour se présenter; donner sa date de naissance, son lieu de naissance, son numéro de téléphone
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the key parts of a postcard in French (greeting, introduction, body, closing, signature).
- Write a complete sentence in French giving their date of birth, using the format “Je suis né(e) le …” or “Ma date de naissance est le …”.
- Write a complete sentence in French giving their place of birth, using “Je suis né(e) à …” (with the correct town and region).
- Write a complete sentence in French giving their telephone number, using “Mon numéro de téléphone est le …”.
- Produce a short postcard (5 to 7 sentences) to a pen pal in which they introduce themselves with their name, age, date of birth, place of birth and telephone number, following the model studied in class.
