By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Develop ideas from a brainstormed list into a three-paragraph draft on a chosen topic.
Link ideas within paragraphs using cohesive devices such as “however” and “as a result.”
Connect ideas across paragraphs using cohesive devices such as “on the other hand.”
Write a three-paragraph draft without stopping to correct spelling, punctuation, or grammar, focusing only on getting ideas down.
Identify the three parts of a draft (introduction, body, conclusion) in a sample text.
