Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.4.2.1.1 - Write with a legible, fluent and personal handwriting style
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the features of legible handwriting, including consistent letter size, even spacing, and proper alignment on the line.
- Demonstrate fluent handwriting by copying a selected sentence from their reader without stopping or hesitating.
- Develop a personal handwriting style by making a deliberate choice about the slant, loop size, or letter join that they consistently use.
- Copy a sentence from their reader in joint script with at least 90% accuracy in letter formation and spacing.
- Assess their partner’s handwriting using a simple checklist and provide one positive comment and one suggestion for improvement.
