Indicator: B6.1.9.1.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the key features of a set of instructions for playing a game, including clear steps, sequence markers and action verbs.
  2. Analyse a sample set of game instructions to determine whether the steps are clear, complete and correctly ordered.
  3. Create an original set of instructions for a game they know well, using action verbs and sequence markers appropriately.
  4. Present their instructions orally to the class, speaking clearly and with enough detail for others to follow.
  5. Give and receive feedback on their peers’ instructions, suggesting improvements for clarity.
