Indicator: B6.1.7.1.6 - Identify the problems and solutions in texts

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Listen attentively to a story or informational text and identify the main problem or problems presented in it.
State the cause of a problem and the effect it produces in a text they have listened to.
Identify the solution or solutions proposed or applied to resolve the problem in a text.
Explain the relationship between problem and solution using simple sentence frames such as “The problem was… and the solution was…”
Answer questions that require them to recall events, analyse causes and effects, and describe how problems were resolved.
