Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.1.5.2.1 - Express personal opinion about moral lessons in sketches

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the beginning, middle, and ending of a familiar story or sketch.
  2. Discuss the plot of a chosen story in simple terms, naming the main events in order.
  3. Role-play a short story while others listen, observe, and connect it to real life.
  4. Identify at least one moral value or lesson from the story.
  5. Express a personal opinion about the moral lesson, using sentence frames such as “I think the lesson is…” and “In my opinion…”.

- Lead learners to discuss the plot of the particular story chosen.
- Guide learners to role-play the story as others listen and observe and relate them to real life situations.

- Learners express personal opinions about the moral lessons identified.
