Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.4.1.1
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Recall one or two stories they have read or heard before and name the main events in each.
- Retell a story heard in class in the correct sequence using a story map or herringbone strategy.
- Identify at least two connections between events in a story and their own personal experiences.
- Explain in a group discussion why a story event reminds them of something that happened in their own lives.
- Present a short oral response stating “This part of the story reminds me of…” with at least one clear reason.
