Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.7.1.1.2 - Demonstrate solutions for the health related problems in ICT.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State at least three solutions for each of the five major ICT-related health hazards discussed in the previous lesson (eye strain, eye irritation, eye fatigue, back and neck pain, and repetitive strain injuries).
  2. Demonstrate the correct sitting posture and screen positioning when using a computer or laptop.
  3. Perform simple eye exercises and explain the 20-20-20 rule for preventing eye fatigue.
  4. Create a personal ICT health checklist that includes break schedules, screen brightness adjustments, and proper equipment setup.
  5. Justify why regular breaks and proper equipment setup are important for long-term health when using ICT tools.
