Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.6.10.1.2 - Investigate on the responsible use of computers.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what information privacy means and give at least two examples of personal information that should be kept private online.
- Describe copyright in simple terms and state what a person should do before using someone else’s work.
- Identify at least three examples of hardware, software and information theft.
- Investigate and report on one real-life case of irresponsible computer use and suggest how it could have been prevented.
- Demonstrate responsible computer use by following class rules for privacy and respect when working with shared devices.
