Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.6.10.1.1 - Explain Internet etiquette and how to deal with it.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define Internet etiquette (netiquette) in their own words.
  2. State at least four rules of Internet etiquette.
  3. Explain why each rule of Internet etiquette is important for online communication.
  4. Demonstrate how to apply at least two rules of Internet etiquette in a given scenario.
  5. Describe what to do when they encounter someone who is not practising good Internet etiquette.
