Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.6.8.1.1 - Describe other hardware used in IoT Internet of Things.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least five different types of hardware used in IoT systems beyond the basic devices they already know.
- Describe the function of each IoT hardware component (sensors, actuators, gateways, RFID tags, and cloud servers) in simple terms.
- Classify given IoT examples according to the hardware they use (sensor, actuator, or both).
- Work in groups to discuss and sort IoT hardware cards, explaining their reasoning to the class.
- Draw and label a simple IoT hardware setup showing how devices connect.
