Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.6.7.1.6 - Demonstrate attaching files to e-mail messages.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain what a file attachment is and give at least two examples of files that can be attached to an e-mail.
  2. Identify the attachment icon or button in an e-mail composition window.
  3. Demonstrate, step by step, how to attach a file to a new e-mail message.
  4. Demonstrate how to attach a file to a reply or forwarded message.
  5. State at least one precaution to take when opening or sending attachments.
