Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.6.7.1.5 - Create address list.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define an address list (or contacts list) in electronic mail and explain its purpose in saving time and effort.
  2. Identify the common places where address lists or contacts are stored in an email application (such as “Contacts” or “Address Book”).
  3. Create an address list by adding at least five contacts with their names and email addresses using a teacher-provided template or a simple email application.
  4. Organise an address list by grouping contacts (for example, family, classmates, or church members) to make sending messages easier.
  5. Use the address list to address a new email message correctly by selecting a contact instead of typing the full address.
