Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.6.2.1.2 - Recognise the status bar and list its use.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the status bar in a browser window and point to it accurately.
- State at least three functions of the status bar in a web browser.
- Explain what information the status bar displays when a page is loading or when hovering over a link.
- Distinguish the status bar from other parts of the browser window, such as the address bar and the menu bar.
- Use the status bar to check the destination of a link before clicking on it.
