Indicator: B6.5.3.1.3 - Perform calculations in an MS-Excel worksheet.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the formula bar and cell references in an MS-Excel worksheet.
  2. Create simple formulas in Excel using addition, subtraction and multiplication signs (+, -, *).
  3. Use the SUM function to add up a range of numbers in a worksheet.
  4. Apply formulas to solve everyday arithmetic problems in a worksheet.
  5. Explain how Excel recalculates answers automatically when values change.
