Indicator: B6.5.1.1.8 - Operate basics SQL: querying and manipulating data.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define SQL and explain its purpose as a language for talking to databases.
  2. Write a simple CREATE DATABASE command to set up a new database.
  3. Use the SELECT command to retrieve specific names of students from a class database.
  4. Apply the UPDATE command to change or correct data in a database.
  5. Read and interpret simple SQL commands and predict what each one will do.
