Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.3.1.1.3 - Be able to use the attributes of the ribbons studied in a paragraph.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify the attributes (features) of the File, Insert, Design, and Layout ribbons that are used for formatting a paragraph.
  2. Format a paragraph by applying font styles, font size, font colour, and bold, italic, or underline attributes.
  3. Align a paragraph to the left, centre, right, or justify it using the Layout or Home ribbon options.
  4. Apply line spacing and paragraph spacing options within a selected paragraph.
  5. Create and format a short paragraph about a familiar topic, saving their work for future use.
