Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.2.1.1.3 - Be able to give a 5-slide presentation in MS-PowerPoint using the tools of the ribbons studied.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. plan the content of a 5-slide presentation on a chosen topic by writing brief points for each slide.
  2. create a 5-slide PowerPoint presentation using the Insert, Design and File tools learned in previous lessons.
  3. add text to slides using the Text group tools from the Insert ribbon.
  4. rehearse and deliver a short oral presentation of their 5 slides to the class, speaking clearly and pointing to key points.
  5. use the Slide Show tools (or keyboard shortcuts such as F5) to start and move through their presentation.
