Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.3.1.10 - Demonstrate how to store data.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain what data storage means and give at least three reasons why storing data is important in everyday life.
- Identify at least five different methods or tools used to store data, including handwriting, phone recording, magnetic tapes, and optical discs.
- Demonstrate, through practical activity, how to store data using at least two different methods (e.g., writing on paper and saving on a phone or computer).
- Match different types of data to the most appropriate storage method and justify their choice.
- Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of at least two different data storage methods.
