Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.3.1.6 - Demonstrate how to collect data (e.g. listening to radio, reading newspapers, interviews use of questionnaires etc.)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain the meaning of data collection and give at least two examples from their daily lives.
- Identify and describe at least four different methods of collecting data, including questionnaires, interviews, observation, and document review.
- Design a simple questionnaire with three to five questions to collect data on a chosen topic in their community.
- Conduct a short interview or use a questionnaire to collect data from at least five people, and record their findings accurately.
- Work collaboratively in groups to gather data, respecting the views and responses of the people they collect data from.
