Learning Objectives
Indicator: B6.1.2.1.5 - Illustrate the use of File Explorer window and locations of the computer through the file explorer.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the File Explorer icon on the taskbar and open the File Explorer window using at least two different methods.
- Name and point to the main parts of the File Explorer window, including the title bar, address bar, search box, navigation pane, and the main viewing area.
- Explain the purpose of the navigation pane and the address bar in helping users find files and folders.
- Use the File Explorer to locate at least three different locations on the computer, such as This PC, Desktop, and Documents.
- Draw and label a simple diagram of the File Explorer window showing its key parts.
