Learning Objectives

Indicator: B6.1.2.1.4 - Explore the use of Copy, Paste, Delete tools, the moving of folders by using the Desktop Pop-Up menu.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Right-click on the Desktop to open the Desktop Pop-Up menu and identify the Copy, Paste, Delete, and New Folder options.
  2. Copy a file or folder from one location on the Desktop and paste it into another location or folder.
  3. Delete a file or folder using the Delete option from the Desktop Pop-Up menu.
  4. Move a folder from one position on the Desktop to another using the mouse (drag and drop).
  5. Explain the difference between copying a folder (the original stays) and moving a folder (the original goes to the new place).
