By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define the term “generation of computers” in their own words.
- Identify and name the five generations of computers in chronological order.
- Match each generation of computers to its key technology (vacuum tubes, transistors, integrated circuits, microprocessors, artificial intelligence).
- Classify common computing devices (super computers, mainframes, minicomputers, microcomputers, mobile phones) under the correct generation.
- Describe at least one way each generation changed how people live and work.
